May Day provides an opportunity for union members and supporters to celebrate the achievements of workers and to demand secure jobs and fair conditions.
In 2021, CSIRO Staff Association and CPSU members are encouraged to participate in Covid-safe May Day events being organised by local communities around the country.

- 11.30 am Saturday 15 May
- Meet at 11.30 am at Victoria Street (back of CPSU) for 12 pm rally and march
- Followed by street party with food, drinks and free activities for the kids

- 12.30 pm Sunday 1 May
- Meet at SA Maritime Museum 126 Lipson Street, Port Adelaide for march to community event at Nile Street
- Event features bands, speeches, a petting zoo and auction, food trucks and bars, and a celebration of the anniversary of the Port Adelaide Workers Memorial

- Meet at 10:30am at Prince Alfred Square, Church St Parramatta
- March to Willow Grove for family fun day with rides, food, bands and entertainment. Look out for the CPSU flags!
