CSIRO Staff Association members and delegates are invited to submit an expression of interest to attend Science meets Parliament (SMP) 2024.
Held in Canberra between 20-21 March, this national gathering of STEM leaders includes expert-led professional development, a welcome reception, Parliamentary forum, national gala dinner, televised National Press Club address and opportunities for participants to meet in small groups directly with select Parliamentarians.
As a founding member of event host Science and Technology Australia (STA), each year the union sponsors a number of Staff Association members to participate.
Staff Association members interested in attending the event should email a brief expression of interest (EOI) to csstaff@cpsu.org.au immediately.
Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.
The short EOI should describe the work performed at CSIRO and reasons for the interest in attending SMP.
