Negotiations for the CSIRO Enterprise Agreement – the collective employment contract that sets out our pay and working conditions – are set to commence soon.

Bargaining claim 

Following months of extensive consultation involving hundreds of CSIRO employees from across the country, the Staff Association has developed a bargaining claim – based on the issues that matter to our members – that sets out the union’s starting position for negotiations.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve held workplace meetings across the country where Staff Association members have considered and endorsed the union’s bargaining claim.

We’re now holding a national, online-only meeting for any staff that have missed out on a local event to catch up on the Staff Association agenda for enterprise bargaining at CSIRO.

The claim will cover our campaign priorities on pay and superannuation, working conditions, job security and consultation.

Staff Association members will be asked to endorse the bargaining position.

CSIRO staff who aren’t yet union members will be invited to join to participate and be represented in negotiations. We’re stronger, together.
